Looking for some tricks and treats to improve your health?
Use the October Challenge Calendar
Join The Rapides Foundation Get Healthy Cenla Challenge, a daily challenge designed to encourage people to improve their nutrition and physical activity. Our goal is for everyone to eat five or more servings of fruits and vegetables a day and to get at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity a day, five days a week.
Download and print the October 2017 Challenge Calendar
to get started today. Since football season is in full swing, the October calendar features a Weekend Football Challenge. During every game you watch, complete the challenge exercises like walking in place during commercials or doing a particular exercise for each touchdown or field goal. The calendar also features many different nutrition tips to help you meet your health goals. For a delicious - and nutritious - game time snack, try this recipe for veggie nachos
for everyone to enjoy!
