Meet organizations serving youth; interested in collaborating

As part of its Economic Development Initiative, The Rapides Foundation has developed strategies to address youth and young adults ages 16-24 who are neither working nor pursuing an education or training, a group sometimes referred to as "disconnected youth."

In July, the Foundation will host multiple community networking opportunities to allow organizations who are working with disconnected youth to meet each other, introduce themselves and their programs, and discuss gaps that they see in connecting young adults to services. 

The meetings are open to any organization working with youth or those interested in applying for the Foundation's new Reconnecting Cenla Program Grant funding opportunity. To learn more about the new funding opportunity, CLICK HERE.

The meetings are free and open to the public, but registration is required to provide a headcount for the meal served at the event.
