Cenla Medication Access Program (CMAP) Staff

Wendy Roy, MHA
Mrs. Roy serves the Foundation as Program Director for the Cenla Medication Access Program (CMAP). This program's mission is to ensure appropriate medication access and education as well as promotion of other preventive health practices among residents with limited incomes in Central Louisiana. She holds a graduate degree in Healthcare Administration from Seton Hall University. Mrs. Roy also has a B.S. degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University. Prior to joining the Foundation, Mrs. Roy was the Regional Director for Prevent Child Abuse Louisiana. She was responsible for organizing and overseeing child abuse prevention activity within the region including program delivery, fund-raising, public education, public awareness, and volunteer recruitment, training and management.
Kevin Brown, PharmD
Mr. Brown is a pharmacist with the Cenla Medication Access Program. He manages the CMAP Express Central Fill Pharmacy and is responsible for conducting thorough medication reviews with “high-risk" eligible patients, overall patient education and compliance, as well as monitoring for possible drug interactions. He communicates with physicians and pharmacies to keep them informed of their patient's involvement in the program. Brown holds a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Kansas. He has 17 years experience in retail pharmacy. Prior to joining The Rapides Foundation, his most recent position was as a Pharmacy Manager with Wal-Mart.
Jackie Bronson
Mrs. Bronson serves the Foundation as the Cancer Screening Project's Community Health Advisor (CHA). She is responsible for promoting cancer screening opportunities through awareness and early detection within the nine-parish service area of The Rapides Foundation. Mrs. Bronson graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor's Degree in General Studies, and minors in Math, History and Psychology. She retired from the Louisiana National Guard after 23 years of service. Mrs. Bronson has been an active volunteer in her church and local elementary school for many years, including participation in the Apple Volunteers, where she was recognized as an outstanding school volunteer with the 2015-16 Volunteer of the Year award. 

Kira Davidson, RDN, LDN
Mrs. Davidson serves the Foundation as the CMAP Healthy Lifestyle Coordinator. She is responsible for promoting the program through physicians and employers to encourage the public to lead healthy lifestyles. She is a Licensed and Registered Dietitian. Mrs. Davidson graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Nicholls State University in 2009, and she completed her Dietetic Internship at Tulane University-School of Public Health in 2010. Before joining CMAP, she worked as the Clinical Dietitian at LSU Huey P. Long Medical Center in Pineville.

 

Kayla Edwards
Mrs. Edwards serves the Foundation as Cancer Screening Specialist. She is responsible for coordinating the Cancer Screening Project's mobile mammography unit where patients can be screened for breast, cervical and colorectal cancer. Mrs. Edwards holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Louisiana State University at Alexandria, and a Certification in Phlebotomy Technician from Central Louisiana Medical Academy. Prior to joining the Foundation, she worked as a facilitator for youth wraparound services and as a phlebotomist for local organizations.

Lydia Kozlowski
Mrs. Kozlowski serves the Foundation as CMAP Healthy Lifestyle Exercise Specialist. She is responsible for leading clients through safe and effective exercises and developing individualized workout plans. Mrs. Kozlowski has over 20 years experience teaching fitness classes and weight training throughout Indiana and Louisiana. She has her personal training certification from the Cooper Institute. She is also certified in group exercise and weight room training from Aerobic & Fitness Association of America. Mrs. Kozlowski is a certified hatha yoga instructor and Yoga Alliance member with a 200-hour yoga certification. She is also a certified Les Mills RPM (indoor cycle) instructor.

Kayla Laborde
Mrs. Laborde serves the Foundation as a pharmacy technician with the CMAP program. She has over 10 years of experience working as a pharmacy technician. Before joining CMAP, Mrs. Laborde worked as a technician for Super One pharmacy.
 
  Britney Tracy, RDN, LDN
Mrs. Tracy serves the Foundation as a Registered Dietitian for the CMAP Healthy Lifestyle Program. She assists the Program's Coordinator and Exercise Specialist in encouraging the public to lead healthy lifestyles through individualized nutritional interventions. She is a Licensed and Registered Dietitian. Mrs. Tracy graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Louisiana Tech University, where she also completed her Dietetic Internship. Mrs. Tracy previously worked as the Nutrition Program Manager at Morehouse General Hospital.

Patient Assistance Program (PAP) Staff

Under the Cenla Medication Access Program, PAP Specialists work with the physicians in their designated parishes by coordinating applications with the physician and their patients to obtain free medications from various pharmaceutical companies for those who qualify.
