Louisiana Public Broadcasting will air the Get Healthy Cenla Video Challenge Film Festival on Sept. 24 and Sept. 25, allowing people in Central Louisiana and the rest of state to see the tremendous work of our area high school teams to spread the word about healthy nutrition and physical activity.
The White House and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services have invited The Rapides Foundation to a gathering on Improving Health Outcomes Through Faith-Based and Community Partnerships.
The Rapides Foundation is accepting Letter of Intent submissions for its October 15 grant cycle. These grants are intended to support projects or programs that address specific issues of interest to the Foundation. Proposals should impact residents within Allen, Avoyelles, Catahoula, Grant, LaSalle, Natchitoches, Rapides, Vernon and Winn parishes.
