Learning Lab Receives National Designation

Alexandria, La. – The Community Development Works (CDW) Learning Lab has been designated as a Foundation Center Cooperating Collection site. This distinction will allow the Lab to better serve grantseekers in the region by acquiring Foundation Center resources for grantseeking and grant writing. The Foundation Center is a nonprofit organization headquartered in New York City. The Center performs research on charitable giving, presents information on U.S. philanthropies, and helps grantseekers find funding and program information.

Alexandria LA - The Cenla Medication Access Program (CMAP) has been awarded the Rural Health Program of the Year by the National Rural Health Association (NRHA). The award is being presented in New Orleans on May 20, 2005 during the 28th NRHA Annual Conference, the largest national meeting devoted to addressing rural health issues and the educational needs of those who practice, work and live in rural areas.
