CDW Learning Lab offering free downloads

The Learning Lab at Community Development Works has expanded its services by offering eBooks and audiobooks, available for downloads from the CDW website. Library card holders can check out and download books for free.

Grant deadline is Tuesday, April 2

Tuesday, April 2, is the deadline to apply for grants that encourage and improve physical activity and healthy eating among residents in Central Louisiana. These community implementation grants are for nonprofit organizations, government entities and faith-based community groups located in Allen, Avoyelles, Catahoula, Grant, LaSalle, Natchitoches, Rapides, Vernon and Winn parishes.

CDW announces Spring webinars

Community Development Works (CDW), a program of The Rapides Foundation, is offering a free webinar series on Community Building for Cenla residents and nonprofits. These one-hour webinars are from 11 a.m. - noon and can be accessed through most devices using the GoToWebinar app. Register at www.communitydevelopmentworks.org .
